Martin Luther King Jr. Remembered

40 years ago today Martin Luther King Jr. was assassinated on a balcony in Memphis, Tennessee.

I find it amazing that this is still a mystery. I am not one to go touting conspiracy theories and the like, but there are several logical points that this BBC article brings up that make you at the very least question the legitimacy of the killer actually being solely James Earl Ray.

The notion that documents contained by the FBI will be released by our next president is a bit rich. I don't truly believe this nation will ever own up to its dark and evil past. Not when the government can simply distract people's attention with Brittney, American Idol, and terrorism.

The article isn't too long and is extremely fair on both sides.
